A lot of truck fans are excited about the 2018 Ford F-150, and it's not hard to see why. The new truck will add a ton of improvements, building on the already winning package of the 2017 F-150. One of its biggest improvements will be to its engine selection. While many of its improved engines will focus on delivering peak power, several will also offer better gas mileage.
The new 3.3-liter V6 (the replacement for the 2017's 3.5-liter engine) has been rated for 19/22/25 MPG. The F-150 will also have an option for a second generation 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that can deliver 20/26/22 MPG.
These numbers obviously don't put the 2018 F-150 on the same level as some of the smaller cars on the market. That said, it's still a significant improvement for the F-150.
