At New South Ford, we're proud to say that starting with the 2019 Fords, our vehicles will include Ford Co-Pilot360. This system consists of advanced technology that can assist drivers as they travel around Meridian, MS.
Ford Co-Pilot360 consists of a full suite of features. For example, Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection can work to prevent accidents involving other vehicles or people crossing the street. Once the sensors detect a potential problem, the driver will be warned with a visual and audio alert. The vehicle can automatically hit the brakes, even before the driver has a chance to respond.
Another feature is the Lane Keeping System. If it seems like a driver is veering out of position, the steering wheel will gently vibrate as a warning. If the issue remains, the vehicle can steer itself back into the lane. A forward-looking camera is utilized to determine correct positioning.
